Factoid: This track copies an idea explored in 1680 by Henry Purcell in his 'Fantasia Upon One Note' in which you can hear the same note (C) being played throughout. In Purcell's piece it is the same instrument (often the poor viola in modern performances) who has to endure 2:33 of middle C! In this track, an F is always being played by one of the wind players. The clock effect is a recording of a genuine children's Iron Man alarm clock
