The story behind the sound
Originally from Hiroshima, Japan, Yoshi Hayata has been honing his craft as a composer for over 20 years in the industry. Notable placements in advertising campaigns include blockbuster titles such as Deadpool and Doctor Strange, and longrunning TV series Vikings. Yoshi’s music has been featured in promotional materials and shows for major US broadcast and cable networks, including CBS, NBC, FOX, National Geographic, Discovery and History. Additionally, his music has found a home on leading Japanese networks such as Nippon TV, NHK and others. Yoshi earned his bachelor’s from Soka University in Japan and his master’s from the University of Miami in the US, where he crossed paths with his longtime collaborator, Mark Denis. Currently based in Kawasaki, Japan, and having experienced the fusion of East and West in his life, he continues to captivate audiences with his uniquely emotionally impactful music.
