The story behind the sound
Titi Lokei is a songwriting sensation. Fusing Afrobeats with influences from hip hop and pop, the Chicago-born star has previously opened for acts including Jeremih, WizKid, Davido, and Twista, and is currently a member of the SmashCoast Music production team, based in L.A. Outside of songwriting, Lokei is leading the fight for equality within the music industry, holding executive positions on the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and the ACA (African Cultural Association). As she puts it, “I am dedicated to the game, and as a woman it is my duty to make a change.”
Fusing Afrobeats with influences from hip hop and pop, Lokei has opened for acts including Jeremih, WizKid, Davido, and Twista, and is a vital member of L.A.’s SmashCoast Music production team.
