The story behind the sound
A prolific musical chameleon, Richard’s writing and production work stretches from the pop realm to film scoring and everything in between. He’s spanned the globe, working with various multi- Grammy Award-winning songwriters, producers and artists. He’s responsible for the fastest-selling singles ever released in China from a female artist, topping the charts in over 20 countries including Billboard Number 1 in China, and reached Number 1 in the UK Charts having worked on Liam Gallagher’s last solo album. As a multi-instrumentalist, over the years he’s toured and MD’d in numerous live projects opening arena gigs for the likes of Sting, Elton John, Bryan Adams, Incubus and McFly to name a few. For this record Richard has partnered with vocalist Stephen James AKA Joe Publick to deliver a full-length worth of hard-hitting UK punk tracks that are just as loud as they are energetic.
