The story behind the sound
Famed for his searing indie-rock songwriting, Collin Desha is a Los Angeles-based artist and producer. Born in Hawaii, Collin first discovered his passion for songwriting fronting various local bands, before relocating to L.A. to pursue music professionally. Starting out in A&R at Interscope Records, he quickly cemented his reputation as a dynamic creative force on the east Los Angeles indie circuit, first as lead guitarist in much-loved scene staples Vanaprasta, before branching out solo under the nom de guerre Low Hum. Collin’s first EP as Low Hum arrived in 2018, followed by two acclaimed full-lengths released via Last Gang Records. Building on the groundwork laid with Last Gang, his stunning debut release for Audio Network blends aggressive guitar tones, haunting vocals and provocative lyrics steeped in personal experience to powerful effect.
