The story behind the sound
San Francisco singer, songwriter, and artist Miriam Speyer’s personal mantra is, “To create is my bliss. To share is my promise!” The Michigan native was raised singing four-part harmony at church. She eventually found a guitar in her hands and the rest, as they say, was history. She took the harmonies learned in her youth and coupled them to honest and emotional melodies. In addition to guitar, she also plays bass and steel drums. Alongside her own music, having released two full-length albums, Miriam also works as a collaborator and co-writer with other artists. Miriam works with Emmy award-winning Producer Lucas Cantor and Composer/Producer Michael Levine on layered and visceral soundtrack material.
