The story behind the sound
German native Thomm Jutz has found his home and calling in Nashville, Tennessee producing and writing some of the top bluegrass songs. To fully understand the breadth of the instrument, Thomm studied classical guitar at Stuttgart Conservatory, but the inspiration of seeing Bobby Bare on his television at the age of 11 started his journey in country, folk, and bluegrass music. He gigged across Europe with blues and rock bands. Working with Country Music Hall of Fame members, folk legends, and Grammy-nominated acts, Thomm has established a name for his studio TJ Tunes since his move to the states in 2003. His fascination with the Civil War led to him producing “The 1861 Project, Volumes 1 & 2.”
