The story behind the sound
Award-winning producer and composer Kelly Mac is on a mission to make a lasting impact on the music industry by bringing out the authentic voice in all artists, media and brands. A summa cum laude graduate of Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor's degree in Contemporary Writing and Production as well as Music Business Management, the North Virginia native grew up classically trained on trumpet and self-taught on piano, leading to a prodigious passion for writing and production. Today, Kelly specialises in modern genres as well as scoring to picture and is renowned for her uniquely fresh yet commercially successful sound. Composition work includes collaborations on campaigns with Nike, Reebok, ESPN and CoverGirl, scoring films for BET, Netflix and HBO, and soundtracking TV shows including The George Lopez Show and Disney's Gamer's Guide to Pretty Much Everything. Meanwhile, Kelly’s production credits range from projects with singers from MTV's Making the Band, The Voice and X Factor to ongoing work with a vast array of top level writers and producers, including Grammy-winner LuneyTunez (Rihanna, Future).
