The story behind the sound
Trailblazing British pianist Jason Rebello was the first jazz musician to secure entry as a classical student at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Jason’s jazz piano leanings were influenced by Herbie Hancock and McCoy Tyner. Beyond jazz, he’s performed classical concerts with the Nice Symphony Orchestra and the Halle Orchestra. His solo albums are critically acclaimed for his talent and inventive nature, mixing jazz, latin, soul, and hip hop. Fully immersed in piano, he continues to generate his most personal, poignant work as he marries well-established technique to an ever-growing maturity.
