The story behind the sound
As one half of successful sync music project Safari, and the frontman and driving force behind much-loved indie-pop outfit Paper Jackets, L.A.-based songwriter James Mason boasts an innate ability to turn everyday experiences into infinitely memorable musical gold. Working alongside producer Ethan Kaufmann in Safari, Mason has produced several albums for Audio Network, including March 2022’s Five Years From Now. Outside of music, Mason is a skilled painter and visual artist.
