The story behind the sound
Grant Gerathy is a drummer, songwriter and producer from Northern NSW, Australia. On drums, Grant has toured and recorded with some of Australia’s biggest artists. From 2013-2019, Grant was a full-time member of one of Australia’s most revered live acts, The John Butler Trio, regularly touring Europe and the United States. Other notable Australian artists include Pete Murray, Bernard Fanning from Powderfinger, Bobby Alu, The Ray Mann Three, Tenderfoot and Laura Frank. Grant has been co-writing for records, television and film for 20 years. He has recently produced records for Animal Ventura, The Sea Benz, The Inns and Cassie Rose from his studio near Byron Bay on Australia’s East Coast.
From 2013-2019, Grant was a full-time member of one of Australia’s most revered live acts, The John Butler Trio, regularly touring Europe and the United States.
