The story behind the sound
Angelina Dove didn’t come from a musical family. In fact, music was discouraged. Despite this, she escaped to London at seventeen and wholeheartedly embraced song, discovering her own hauntingly beautiful voice, before pairing with Harry Sever to form Snow Hill. She believes, and will make an audience believe, that when she’s singing, nothing is wrong. A traditional artist as well, Angelina sees music as colors and paints our world lyrically. Her music was featured in CBS’ “Stalker.” Remember Summer couples Angelina with Paddy Conn of the indie, London-based band Swimming Tapes. United, their sound is an ethereal throwback to the synth-heavy 80s as filtered through a more modern sensibility; crafting something that is wholly unique to the pairing.
