The story behind the sound
Famed for their eclectic, throwback, Vaudeville sound, The Wiyos feature Teddy Weber on guitar, steel guitar, bass, percussion and his grandfather’s cornet. Though formed in New York City, word of the trio's performance skill has made them a hugely in-demand live outfit, performing upwards of 200 shows a year and touring with the likes of John Mellencamp, Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson. Prior to joining The Wiyos, Teddy performed and toured with The Hunger Mountain Boys and has loaned his steel guitar skills to acts including Devendra Banhart, The Bowmans and Todd Mack.
