The story behind the sound
Steve Mandile is a producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and engineer based in Nashville, TN. Alongside recording and touring with his band Sixwire, Steve’s production and songwriting work spans commercial music, TV, advertising and video games. Named SESAC Writer of the Year in 1999, select credits include work with Sir Cliff Richard, Charles Esten, Ronnie Dunn and Tim McGraw, with whom he won SESAC Song of the Year for ‘For A Little While’. In 2001, Steve won a Latin Grammy for his work on ‘De Verdad’ by Alexandra Guzman. Further composition credits include the theme for Ricky Zoom and music for CMT's Next Superstar, MGM's Uptown Girls, The Sims 4 and JCPenney.
