The story behind the sound
Portland producer Trox has been instrumental in putting Portland hip hop on the map, and produced for some of the biggest names in rap including 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, J Stone, and YBN Cordae. He joined forces with Detroit rapper Ty Farris and released two albums: hard-hitting records including appearances by Royce Da 5’9, Rome Streetz, and Rapper Big Pooh. Trox’s soundscapes also appear on Spotify playlists such as ‘Gold Instrumental Beats,’ ‘Focus Flow,’ and ‘Chill Instrumental Beats.’ Most recently, he was asked by Dreamville (J Cole's label) to help work on their Revenge Of The Dreamers III compilation album.
