The story behind the sound
Composer, orchestrator, and performer Rob Northcott started off on the piano at the early age of five. Once he hit his teenage years, he picked up a guitar and dreamed of playing in Led Zeppelin. Rob's diverse musical background includes classical training as a pianist, chorister, guitarist, and flautist, as well as being an electronic producer. Having diverse musical influences has gone on to serve Rob in his career, as he’s equally comfortable with orchestras and guitar pedals. Rob earned both his BA and MA degrees in music from the University of Bristol. His music has been featured on TV networks including BBC, ITV and Sky. In addition to his given name, Rob has also recorded albums under the name Spooky Castle Music.
