The story behind the sound
Writer, producer, and musician Pete Masitti graduated New York’s Juilliard School of Music and then went on to earn a Masters in Music Production from the University of Miami. It’s there, in Florida that Pete opened West End Recording Studios. With over two decades worth of experience, the list of artists he’s written, produced, played, or mixed and mastered is quite formidable — Kelly Rowland, Toni Braxton, Snoop Dogg, Luis Miguel, Geri Halliwell, Shakira, Mana, and KC and the Sunshine Band to name a few. Pete also acted as Julio Iglesias Jr’s musical director. His songs have been placed with notable shows like Monday Night Football, The Shield, and All My Children and Pete’s film scoring has also drawn praise.
