The story behind the sound

Landings are fast emerging from a vibrant scene in Brisbane - responsible for the likes of Cub Sport, The Goon Sax and DZ Deathrays. Having recently worked with the London-based mix engineer Elliot James (Two Door Cinema Club and Bloc Party) and with their first UK show now on the horizon, their sights are clearly set on building an international audience from the off. The band have been taking off locally with support from Australian media outlets Triple J and Pilerats, and have also picked up nominations in the Queensland Music Awards 2018 for their single Everybody Wants. Written and performed by Aidan Hogg and lead vocalist Liam Quinn, Landings produce punchy indie dance music.
