The story behind the sound
Jules Rendell is a London-based singer, songwriter and vocal arranger, known for melodies driven by joy, positivity and hope for the future. As an independent artist, her music has been heard across TV and radio internationally, including on Eastenders, Dragons Den, The Voice Australia, BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 6 Music. Trained in vocal and opera studies at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, Jules spent the beginning of her career in the classical world before hopping over genres into gospel, soul and pop music. In 2011, she formed gospel and soul vocal ensemble, Get Gospel with some of the best gospel vocalists in the UK. Working with GG, she has written and performed in adverts for brands such as Dr. Oetker, Pilgrim’s Choice, Canva, ESPN, T-Mobile and TK Maxx, alongside writing original songs for charities, and arranging and composing for film trailers with international credits, including Amazon Studios. A session singer in her own right, Jules has sung backing vocals for Foals, Michael Ball and Alfie Boe and JP Cooper, and choir vocals for Keane, Beverley Knight, Aled Jones, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Nicole Scherzinger, Songs of Praise, The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent and more.
