The story behind the sound
British composer Julie Cooper was already receiving commissions even while she was studying at University. That first piece, for BBC Wales, paved her course to score documentaries, stage (both concert and theater), and advertising. Her concert compositions have been performed at venues around the world including Carnegie Hall, Spain’s International Music Festival Portico Do Paraiso, The Royal Albert Hall, Chichester Cathedral, and St.Paul’s London. Additionally, Julie has acted as Composer-in-Residence and Orchestrator for the children’s education project Crazy Composers. In the world of advertising, Julie’s scores have paired to companies including NatWest, Ford, and Accenture. Her ethereal compositions are playful and melodic with the promise of discovery and transformation.
