The story behind the sound
Josh Mitchell, AKA Mitch, is a composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist and the owner of/chief-engineer at Woods Lodge Studios in Essex. As songwriter, producer and drummer for British soul outfit The Milk, he reached the top 20 of the UK album charts in 2011 and won BBC 6 Music’s album of the year in 2015. Mitch began his career at premium post-production recording studio 750mph, before moving into bespoke and production composition. His music has been used by most of the major broadcast, online and streaming platforms, as well as by countless household brands, including Amazon, Honda, Coca-Cola and Sony. Mitch is also a producer and co-writer of commercial music that has accounted for millions of streams.
