James Grover, AKA YCONN, is a London-based producer, topliner and mix engineer boasting 25 million+ streams on his co-writes, plus 500 million streams on his collaborations. YCONN’s vocal production credits include David Guetta and Little Mix, while his writing credits include popular dance acts such as LUM!X, PS1, Lanné, Far Out, PBH & Jack, Thomas Gold and many more. He is also an A&R consultant, working with major labels and multiple independent publishers. Having toured the world in a band as a teenager, YCONN learned to produce by making backing tracks for the world's biggest karaoke company, while also working as in-house producer at Bradford’s Peak Studios. Based there, he worked with bands such as Embrace, Marsicans and allusinlove, and produced work for brands including the BBC, Audible/Amazon and Google. Since moving to London, YCONN has primarily focused on applying his keen ear for pop melodies to dance music.
