Georgina Birch

The story behind the sound

Gigi, aka Georgina Birch, is a songwriter and vocalist with a unique sound. Her soulful, quirky vocals run through her like a strand of pop DNA. Her love of singing and songwriting began at a young age, teaching herself guitar and piano in her childhood bedroom. This journey eventually led her to London, where she currently works the co-writing scene, with cuts on Armada, Spinnin’ Records and Warner Music. As a vocalist she has performed as a guest at Reading and Leeds Festival on the BBC Radio 1 Dance Stage, provided backing vocals for chart topping artist Jamie Lawson and amassed over 70k streams on Spotify for her work on Dutch producer Calvo’s latest release. She is a versatile artist who is just as much about feel and intuitive writing, as she is about song craft and learning.
