The story behind the sound
Frank Gallagher is an award-winning producer, composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist, specialising in folk and Celtic sounds. Born in Northern Ireland, Frank has an MA in Contemporary Music & Composition. He has produced an array of multi-platinum records for Sony, Universal, BMG and EMI, working with artists including Shirley Bassey, Andre Rieu, Annie Lennox, Katie Melua, Sinead O’Connor, James Galway and Charlotte Church. A versatile composer, he has written for numerous TV programmes on the BBC, Channel 4, PBS, A&E and RTÉ, created film scores including Music of the Heart starring Meryl Streep and the Emmy-nominated Bailey’s Mistake for Disney, and performed on soundtracks by Rupert Gregson-Williams and Mason Daring.
Frank has produced an array of multi-platinum records for Sony, Universal, BMG and EMI, working with artists including Shirley Bassey, Andre Rieu, Annie Lennox, Sinead O’Connor and Charlotte Church.
