The story behind the sound
Duncan Pym is a music producer, writer and mix engineer. Having started his career as an assistant engineer for Miloco Studios, he later went in-house at The Church Studios under Paul Epworth, working on sessions with London Grammar, Mary J Blige, Dido, JP Cooper and Jay Electronica. Duncan also engineered for Beats 1 on Apple Music, recording radio content with DJs and artists including Zane Lowe, Nile Rogers, Mark Ronson, Charli XCX, Christine and The Queens and Stormzy. Drawing on a wealth of recording experience, Duncan has produced, written and mixed for many up-and-coming artists, including Ivor Novello-winner Mysie and the BBC Radio 1-endorsed Litany, with whom he created the streaming smash ‘My Dude’. In addition to production and mixing credits with Jolé, Julia Church and Carrie Baxter, Duncan is currently working with rising stars Caity Baser, Latir, Connie Campsie, Kai Bosch, Reuben Aziz, Loie and Erica Manzoli.
