The story behind the sound
Londoner Debbie Wiseman studied at Trinity College of Music and then piano and composition at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Her album of music accompanying the fairy stories of Oscar Wilde was made into a trilogy of animated films called “Wilde Stories” for Channel 4 and nominated for a Grammy Award. She has also been nominated for two Ivor Novello Awards, and won a TRIC Award and two RTS Awards. In 2007, Debbie was awarded the Gold Badge of Merit by the British Academy of Composers & Songwriters. In the 2018 Queen’s Birthday Honour’s list, she was awarded the OBE for services to music. Her more than 200 film and TV credits vividly bring the human experience to life.
