The story behind the sound
Born and bred in the ancestral Home of Metal itself and picking up the guitar as a young child, UK Midlands-based guitarist-songwriter Dave Powell had heavy metal running through his veins at an early age. As a guitarist and songwriter in multiple metal bands and projects, including co-founding extreme metal act Master’s Call, Dave has toured and performed live at festivals such as Hard Rock Hell, Incineration Festival and Bloodstock Festival. Raised on the home-grown heavy metal roots of Black Sabbath and journeying through the many niches and sub-genres since, Dave draws upon creative inspiration from a multitude of metal influences and experiences.
Brought up in the home of metal, Midlands-based guitarist/songwriter Dave Powell co-founded extreme metal act Master’s Call & has toured & performed at Hard Rock Hell, Incineration & Bloodstock.
