The story behind the sound
Film composers, producers, and brothers Adam and Dan Skinner have been writing bespoke music together for over a decade. Multi-instrumentalists, the pair graduated from Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA). Their music has fueled campaigns by Adidas’ “The Spark” and British Airways’ “Dia de los Muertos” to film trailers for “Fortress of War” and “5 Days of War” and TV teasers for “Doctor Who” and “Luther.” Inspired by and working as performers/sound engineers in a wide swath of genres — from indie, electro and rock to jazz, blues, and world music — much of Adam and Dan’s music features world-class musicians from the English Session Orchestra to the RSVP Choir as well as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra performing live.
