The story behind the sound
Colin Sheen is a musician who has played in classical orchestras, as well as big bands, and has been the principal trombonist with the English Chamber Orchestra for over 40 years. For twelve years he was principal trombonist with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. Colin has recorded with a galaxy of stars from Paul McCartney to Pavarotti, Barbra Streisand to George Solti, The Carpenters to Jose Carreras. He has written music for radio and TV, together with performing on the soundtracks for a raft of Bond movies, two Harry Potter movies, Atonement and The Girl with a Pearl Earring, amongst many others.
Colin has performed with classical orchestras, big bands and artists including Paul McCartney, Pavarotti and Barbra Streisand. He has written music for film and TV.
