The story behind the sound
Nightgames is the Brooklyn-based musical brainchild of Cody Page. By his own definition, Cody delivers music built for dancers and thinkers, drawing comparisons to Phantogram, Arctic Monkeys, and LCD Soundsystem. Despite these comparisons, Cody’s music is uniquely his own, from the falsetto overlaid atop it through to the head-bop inducing beats spread across both his dance and rock work. Cody’s lively dance music delivers that dynamic rhythm coupled with synths and a signature, idiosyncratic quirk. His vibrant pop rock work is fuelled by memorable and driving guitar riffs. In all, Cody writes with a contemporary voice of the new and his upbeat songs couple nicely to energetic, almost frenetic scenery and scenes of discovery, dancing, or just plain fun.
