The story behind the sound
A revered composer working across the fields of cinema, television, theatre, commercials, and video games, Christopher Slaski started his career under the tutelage of Ennio Morricone and Sir Richard Rodney Bennett (Four Weddings And A Funeral, Murder On The Orient Express). Since graduating from London’s Royal Academy of Music, Slaski has set up studios in the UK, France and Spain, where he writes scores for a range of acclaimed short and feature-length films, documentaries, dramas and animations, and creates music for adverts. Slaski counts Marks & Spencer, Compare The Market, Mercedes and British Airways among his many commercial clients, whilst his concert music has been recorded by major orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra. Having won Best Young European Film Composer at the World Soundtrack Academy in Ghent, Slaski is now a member of the European Film Academy.
