The story behind the sound
Starting a London studio at the tender age of nineteen, Chris Sheldon now has over three decades of experience as a mixer and producer and he continues to keep on delivering. Once he worked with Roger Waters, the demand for his talents grew. His work can be heard in the music of bands including Foo Fighters, Garbage, Biffy Clyro, Bayside, Feeder, and Pixies. His rock sound has mid-range as well as fatness and presence and he likes to make sure that the vocals sit firmly in the middle of the mix. His production leanings are heavily influenced by a personal hero, Todd Rundgren. Outside of the studio, Chris also acts as an ambassador for the Recording Connection.
