The story behind the sound
Bijan Olia is an Iranian-American composer and producer based in Los Angeles. Raised in Massachusetts, his love of storytelling brought him to composing for visual media, majoring first in Composition/Computer Music at Baltimore’s Peabody Institute before completing the BMI Composing for the Screen Workshop in New York City. Since moving to LA, Bijan has composed music for the Freeform TV series Sirens, Warner Brothers’ Lego DC Superheroes: Brain Drain and the virtual reality video game Resident Evil VII Biohazard. In 2017, he was selected as a fellow for the Sundance Institute Composers Lab. As a producer he’s collaborated with Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter J. Hoard. Bijan also remains active in writing music for the concert hall.
Bijan has composed music for the Freeform TV series Sirens, Warner Brothers’ Lego DC Superheroes: Brain Drain and the virtual reality video game Resident Evil VII Biohazard.
