The story behind the sound
Composer Alfie Godfrey is currently based in London but began his career in Los Angeles at Remote Control Productions, working for its partnered company 14th Street Music under Lorne Balfe. While there, he contributed to epic fantasy series such as His Dark Materials and Wheel of Time, gritty home-grown drama Sherwood, Michael Bay thriller Songbird, Disney Plus hit Dopesick, and many more. He also contributed to Top Gun: Maverick and Rebuilding Paradise under Lorne and Hans Zimmer. Most recently Alfie was the lead composer for Sky TV’s new flagship drama A Town Called Malice.
